The victim from a Wednesday morning homicide has been identified by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office as 49-year-old Michael S. Crowe of Owensboro.
According to the Owensboro Police Department, officers responded to the 1700 block of McCulloch Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for a reported shooting. Officers located one male subject with a gunshot wound to the neck who died at the scene.
