One person is dead after a Wednesday morning homicide, according to a release from Owensboro Police Department.
Officers with the OPD responded to the 1700 block of McCulloch Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for a reported shooting. Officers located one male subject with a gunshot wound to the neck who died at the scene.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division and officers from the Evidence Collection Unit are on scene, along with the Daviess County Coroner’s Office.
