Law enforcement officials have deemed a bomb threat at the Taco Bell on Parrish Avenue not credible after searching the building.
Officials on scene said Taco Bell received a call at 11:47 with a recorded message stating there was a bomb in the building and it would go off sometime today.
Owensboro Police Department’s bomb squad conducted a search of the building and found no evidence of a bomb.
Owensboro Fire Department had Parrish Avenue blocked off from Carter Road to Rose Avenue for nearly an hour.
All employees were evacuated from the building during the incident.
