A total of 221 more cases of COVID-19 and 100 recoveries were announced Thursday for the Green River District, including 135 cases and 56 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess (2) and Ohio (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (135), Hancock (8), Henderson (33), McLean (9), Ohio (18), Union (5), Webster (13)
- New recoveries by county: Davies (56), Hancock (3), Henderson (15), McLean (3), Ohio (13), Union (4), Webster (6)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 17,584
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 13,314 (76%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 33
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 753 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 302
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 8,092 cases, 6,078 recovered, 16 current hospitalizations, 292 ever hospitalized, 136 deaths
- Hancock County – 684 cases, 499 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 21 ever hospitalized, 14 deaths
- Henderson County – 3,819 cases, 2,893 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 189 ever hospitalized, 56 deaths
- McLean County – 742 cases, 565 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 46 ever hospitalized, 25 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,100 cases, 1,596 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 102 ever hospitalized, 45 deaths
- Union County – 1,132 cases, 921 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 52 ever hospitalized, 10 deaths
- Webster County – 1,015 cases, 762 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 51 ever hospitalized, 16 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
