A total of 239 more cases of COVID-19 and 65 recoveries were announced Thursday for the Green River District, including 135 cases and 28 recoveries in Daviess County. One coronavirus-death each was reported in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean and Ohio counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (135), Hancock (16), Henderson (39), McLean (9), Ohio (11), Union (13), Webster (16)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (28), Hancock (1), Henderson (17), McLean (3), Ohio (9), Union (3), Webster (4)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 14,115
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 10,368 (73%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 42
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 669 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 250
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 6,342 cases, 4,621 recovered, 24 current hospitalizations, 260 ever hospitalized, 107 deaths
- Hancock County – 526 cases, 346 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 20 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
- Henderson County – 3,163 cases, 2,331 recovered, 6 current hospitalizations, 169 ever hospitalized, 52 deaths
- McLean County – 594 cases, 446 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 38 ever hospitalized, 23 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,685 cases, 1,244 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 90 ever hospitalized, 33 deaths
- Union County – 970 cases, 794 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 48 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 835 cases, 586 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 44 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
Demographics (not all demographic information is available because of incomplete reporting from a testing site):
- Age range: 1 month-102 years old
- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.2%
- Female: 54.8%

- 80+ — 848 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
