A total of 421 more cases of COVID-19 and 156 recoveries were announced Monday for the Green River District, including 147 cases and 86 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Daviess (7) and Henderson (1) counties.
The numbers reflect a four-day period.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (147), Hancock (17), Henderson (119), McLean (11), Ohio (64), Union (26), Webster (37)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (86), Hancock (4), Henderson (28), McLean (9), Ohio (14), Union (13), Webster (2)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 13,171
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 9,832 (75%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 47
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 654 (5%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 235
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 5,869 cases, 4,367 recovered, 30 current hospitalizations, 254 ever hospitalized, 99 deaths
- Hancock County – 458 cases, 318 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 20 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Henderson County – 3,009 cases, 2,205 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 165 ever hospitalized, 50 deaths
- McLean County – 552 cases, 431 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 37 ever hospitalized, 22 deaths
- Ohio County – 1,569 cases, 1,182 recovered, 5 current hospitalizations, 89 ever hospitalized, 30 deaths
- Union County – 941 cases, 769 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 47 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Webster County – 773 cases, 560 recovered, 1 current hospitalizations, 42 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths

- Average age: 45
- Male: 45.3%
- Female: 54.7%

- 70-79 — 1,068 cases
- 80+ — 781 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
