A total of 64 more cases of COVID-19 and 221 recoveries were announced Thursday for the Green River District, including 43 cases and 119 recoveries in Daviess County. One coronavirus-related death was reported in Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (43), Hancock (3), Henderson (9), McLean (1), Ohio (6), Webster (2)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (119), Hancock (10), Henderson (41), McLean (8), Ohio (20), Union (10), Webster (13)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 19,197
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 15,646 (82%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 31
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 803 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 317
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 8,988 cases, 7,318 recovered, 15 current hospitalizations, 319 ever hospitalized, 146 deaths
- Hancock County – 745 cases, 601 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 21 ever hospitalized, 14 deaths
- Henderson County – 4,104 cases, 3,287 recovered, 8 current hospitalizations, 196 ever hospitalized, 57 deaths
- McLean County – 801 cases, 668 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 47 ever hospitalized, 26 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,257 cases, 1,864 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 109 ever hospitalized, 46 deaths
- Union County – 1,188 cases, 1,031 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 57 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Webster County – 1,114 cases, 877 recovered, 2 current hospitalization, 54 ever hospitalized, 16 deaths

- Average age: 44
- Male: 46.4%
- Female: 53.6%

- 80+ — 1,022 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
