A total of 88 more cases of COVID-19 and 191 recoveries were announced Saturday for the Green River District, including 54 cases and 97 recoveries in Daviess County. Coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Hancock (1) and Webster (1) counties.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (54), Hancock (3), Henderson (13), Ohio (14), Webster (4)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (97), Hancock (8), Henderson (29), McLean (5), Ohio (32), Union (7), Webster (13)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 19,393
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 16,209 (84%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 28
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 805 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 319
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 9,112 cases, 7,626 recovered, 15 current hospitalizations, 321 ever hospitalized, 146 deaths
- Hancock County – 753 cases, 618 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 21 ever hospitalized, 15 deaths
- Henderson County – 4,138 cases, 3,375 recovered, 7 current hospitalizations, 196 ever hospitalized, 57 deaths
- McLean County – 803 cases, 692 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 47 ever hospitalized, 26 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,274 cases, 1,933 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 109 ever hospitalized, 46 deaths
- Union County – 1,191 cases, 1,049 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 57 ever hospitalized, 12 deaths
- Webster County – 1,122 cases, 916 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 54 ever hospitalized, 17 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
