A total of 54 more cases of COVID-19 and 299 recoveries were announced Friday for the Green River District, including 35 cases and 101 recoveries in Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (35), Hancock (4), Henderson (3), McLean (5), Ohio (5), Union (2)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (101), Hancock (11), Henderson (41), McLean (10), Ohio (20), Union (10), Webster (7)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 19,665
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 16,867 (85%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 22
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 826 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 324
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 9,269 cases, 7,962 recovered, 15 current hospitalizations, 334 ever hospitalized, 149 deaths
- Hancock County – 764 cases, 647 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 22 ever hospitalized, 15 deaths
- Henderson County – 4,178 cases, 3,510 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 196 ever hospitalized, 57 deaths
- McLean County – 813 cases, 717 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 47 ever hospitalized, 26 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,305 cases, 1,997 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 114 ever hospitalized, 47 deaths
- Union County – 1,202 cases, 1,071 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 58 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
- Webster County – 1,134 cases, 963 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 54 ever hospitalized, 17 deaths

- Average age: 44
- Male: 46.5%
- Female: 53.5%

- 80+ — 1,035 cases
The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
