Gov. Andy Beshear on Monday extended the state’s mandate for an additional 30 days, and he also announced the state’s third straight week of declining cases and its fourth day in a row with a positivity rate below 9%..
During his daily briefing, Beshear reported 1,623 new cases of COVID-19 and 35 more deaths for the state.
Kentucky’s face covering mandate began July 10 and has been extended each month since then.
