The Apollo E-gals road the momentum from Saturday’s win over Owensboro Catholic into another victory Monday as they beat Muhlenberg County on the road.
Apollo took down the Mustangs 56-36 behind a double-double from senior Zoe Floyd.
Floyd finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds while fellow Kassidy Daugherty (11 points) and Shelbie Beatty (10 points) also finished in double digits.
Apollo plays today at Henderson County.
Owensboro Catholic 56, Webster County 19
The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces took advantage of a depleted Webster County squad as Catholic cruised to victory Monday at the Sportscenter.
OC led 26-3 after the first and never looked back in the 56-19 victory.
Senior Catherine Head and freshman Hallie Johnson each finished with 12 points in the win for Catholic.
Every Lady Aces that saw the court Monday finished with a bucket.
Catholic plays its final regular-season game Friday at home against Elizabethtown.
