A total of 22 more cases of COVID-19 and 59 recoveries were announced Friday for the Green River District, including 14 cases and 34 recoveries in Daviess County. One coronavirus-related death was reported in Daviess County.
A previously reported case in Union County was discovered to be a duplicate and has been removed from the totals.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (14), Hancock (1), Henderson (1), Ohio (5), Webster (1)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (34), Hancock (3), Henderson (11), Ohio (8), Union (2), Webster (1)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 20,146
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 18,068 (90%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 9
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 845 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 339
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 9,573 cases, 8,635 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 342 ever hospitalized, 160 deaths
- Hancock County – 771 cases, 697 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 22 ever hospitalized, 15 deaths
- Henderson County – 4,243 cases, 3,731 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 198 ever hospitalized, 60 deaths
- McLean County – 823 cases, 752 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 48 ever hospitalized, 26 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,376 cases, 2,124 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 117 ever hospitalized, 48 deaths
- Union County – 1,216 cases, 1,117 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 64 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
- Webster County – 1,144 cases, 1,012 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 54 ever hospitalized, 17 deaths

- Male: 46.6%
- Female: 53.4%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
