A total of 21 more cases of COVID-19 and 21 recoveries were announced Saturday for the Green River District, including 9 cases and 12 recoveries in Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (9), Hancock (2), Henderson (2), McLean (1), Ohio (3), Union (4)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (12), Hancock (1), Henderson (1), Ohio (4), Union (3)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 20,167
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 18,089 (90%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 10
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 847 (4%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 339
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 9,582 cases, 8,647 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 342 ever hospitalized, 160 deaths
- Hancock County – 773 cases, 698 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 22 ever hospitalized, 15 deaths
- Henderson County – 4,245 cases, 3,732 recovered, 2 current hospitalization, 199 ever hospitalized, 60 deaths
- McLean County – 824 cases, 752 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 48 ever hospitalized, 26 deaths
- Ohio County – 2,379 cases, 2,128 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 118 ever hospitalized, 48 deaths
- Union County – 1,220 cases, 1,120 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 64 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
- Webster County – 1,144 cases, 1,012 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 54 ever hospitalized, 17 deaths

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
