The Daviess County Coroner’s Office has identified the female who was found dead Tuesday on the Ohio River shoreline as a woman from Oldham County.
The coroner identified her as 31-year-old Ashley Nicole Mitchell. The LaGrange
Police Department will be handling the investigation into the death, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
At approximately 7:21 p.m. Tuesday, OPD responded to the 1400 block of West 1st Street for a deceased individual that was located along the riverfront.
