Daviess County Public Library announced the summer reading theme as Explore & Connect, giving teens the opportunity to explore different genres of literature.

Each teen program is themed around different genres and types of literature including: Fantasy, Historical, Poetry, Manga, Science Fiction, and more. For each program, Sarah Jacobs will introduce teens to newest books in that genre along with crafts and activities.

Some planned activities include an interactive murder mystery, horror-themed trivia night, and a workshop on creating chainmail bracelets.

This week’s program, “The World of Manga,” will include trivia, crafts, and showings of popular anime series.

All programs require registration. Registration for each event opens one week before the date of the program on their website.
