The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet began milling and paving work on KY 2830 Thursday morning.
The work section of KY 2830 is south of Maceo, from mile point 1.7 to mile point 6.2 near Perkins Lane.
Milling is planned to be completed today and pave work will begin Monday, June 28. Lane closures and flaggers will address traffic control for both of these operations while this work is addressed.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The start and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
