The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a Sunday night shooting incident on Walnut Street that left one victim with a minor injury. The occupied residence was also struck but there were no other reported injuries.
According to a release, officers in the area of the 900 block of Walnut Street heard several gunshots at approximately 10:01 p.m. While checking the area, officers located a victim with a minor injury who advised that an unknown male fired multiple rounds at her while she was outside the residence.
The victim’s injury was treated at the scene by AMR Ambulance service.
