The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a Tuesday morning stabbing that sent an adult male to the hospital with a wound that is believed to be non-life-threatening.
According to a release, OPD responded to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for a victim with a single stab wound at approximately 3:05 a.m.
Investigators believe the male subject was involved in an altercation in the 2000 block of Lancaster Avenue where he suffered a stab wound.
Detectives are continuing to investigate and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
