UPDATE: On June 26, David Hicks was taken into custody.
Detectives with the Owensboro Police Department are attempting to locate David Anthony Hicks, whose active warrant includes strangulation as well as kidnapping a minor and adult. Hicks may be armed and dangerous.
Hicks’ warrant of arrest also includes wanton endangerment and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
OPD warns anyone who locates Hicks to not approach him and instead contact law enforcement.
