The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a Sunday night shooting that sent a victim to the hospital with two gunshot wounds that officials believe to be non-life-threatening.
According to a release, OPD responded to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital at approximately 11:32 p.m. Sunday for a victim with two gunshot wounds.
According to OPD, it is believed an incident occurred in the area of W. 4th Street near Frederica Street, where the victim was a passenger in a vehicle and was shot two times.
Detectives are continuing to investigate and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
