The Owensboro Transit System will resume collecting fares on July 6. Face masks and social distancing on buses will still be required.
Bus fares were eliminated and the ticket window in the Transit lobby closed in March 2020. Trolley service was also discontinued at that time but resumed May 1, 2021.
Fares are $1 for adults 0r $.50 for seniors (60+), disabled/Medicare, and youth ages 7-18. Children 6 and under can ride for free.
Day passes and monthly passes can also be purchased.
