Western Kentucky Botanical Garden’s weeklong Daylily Festival kicks off June 19 with events for everyone.
The Saturday morning events begin with the Owensboro Art Guild painting throughout the garden at 7 a.m. and yoga by 270 Power Yoga at 8 a.m.
Tours of the daylily field start at 10 a.m. The Daylily dig bed will be available while the garden is open starting at $10 a clump.
Starting at 6 p.m. there will be two magic shows by professional magician Richard Darshwood.
The Owensboro Symphony Jazz Trio will take the gazebo stage at 6 p.m. Following them, at 8 p.m. Prof G will perform songs and a light show.
Throughout the day, families can participate in butterfly crafts, storytime with Adventures Untold characters, and more.
Several food trucks will be at the Garden that Saturday including Food From Scratch Ice Cream, Hodge’s Curbside Creamery, and Real Hacienda.
