The Green River District Health Department reported 279 new confirmed COVID-19 infections and 3 coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday — with 169 cases and 3 deaths in Daviess County. The newly reported cases were investigated between Friday and Monday.
According to the GRDHD, 54.87% of Daviess Countians have been vaccinated. The current 7-day average is 43.20 new cases per day for Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department, the seven-county district’s totals to date are:

- Currently hospitalized: 11 (7 for Daviess)
- Ever hospitalized: 1,311 (557 for Daviess)
- Deaths: 612 (278 for Daviess)
