Green River District COVID-19 update — November 30

The Green River District Health Department reported 585 new confirmed COVID-19 infections and 4 coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday — with 309 cases and 1 death in Daviess County. The newly reported cases were investigated over the last seven days.  

The state mortality review team has determined that an additional 21 deaths were determined to be caused by COVID-19 and the totals have been updated to include those cases. All were from January 2021 or earlier.

According to the GRDHD, 55.07% of Daviess Countians have been vaccinated. The current 7-day average is 42.22 new cases per day for Daviess County.

As reported by Green River District Health Department, the seven-county district’s totals to date are:

  • Reported cases: 38,936 (17,981 for Daviess)
  • Currently hospitalized: 26 (21 for Daviess)
  • Ever hospitalized: 1,331 (574 for Daviess)
  • Deaths: 637 (281 for Daviess)
