The housing market has remained steady over the last four months, according to the latest numbers released by Greater Owensboro REALTOR Association.
GO Realtors sold 157 homes in October, compared to 161, 162, and 160 in the previous three months. The average sold price for October was $209,230. While it’s a slight dip compared to recent months, it’s a 4% increase over October 2020.
Days on market crept up to 62 days — the highest since April 2021. There are 181 sales pending and 177 active listings.
“We are still experiencing a strong market as we begin to close out the year,” GO REALTORS President-elect Michelle Wiesman said. “Inventory is still challenging but this is still a great time to purchase a home.”
