One man was transported to the hospital after being shot and another man suffered a head injury during an incident Monday night. Neither injury is believed to be life-threatening, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
At approximately 8:54 p.m., OPD responded to the 1800 block of Chesterfield Drive for a reported shooting. An adult male was located with a single gunshot wound and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
A second adult male arrived at the hospital a short time later with a head injury sustained during the altercation.
