Update (12:43 p.m.) — A K-9 unit from Evansville has arrived. The unit is currently investigating the inside of the store.

The Owensboro Police Department is investigating an alleged bomb threat at the Walmart on Frederica Street.
According to officials, the OPD Hazardous Device Unit is on scene but hasn’t located anything so far. Officials said the threat was made anonymously.
The building has been evacuated while the investigation continues.
