Church For All is ringing the new year in with some changes. In addition rebranding to One Faith Fellowship, they are also in the process of selling their current building on 4th Street and moving into a building on Tamarack Road.

Their new building, located at 1301 Tamarack Road, was previously home to Century Christian Church, which folded their congregation last summer.

Leaders at One Faith Fellowship said they are excited for the opportunity to have more room and space for normal operations.

M.G. Matally, an elder at the church, said they struggled with the lack of classroom space for their congregation of roughly 50 people at their current location on 400 E. 4th Street. He said a usual Sunday has overlapping voices from the different small groups, including the youth and children groups just 15 feet away.

The original solution to the small building was going to be to build an extension onto the 4th Street location, until Matally realized that moving to a new building would be more financially beneficial.

“People are going to be freer to talk a little louder and not worry about disturbing the other person because you’re in your own classroom,” Matally said. “It sounds like a small thing, but we’ve never had that.”

The church will have their first service at the Tamarack location on March 6, and Matally is excited to grow the congregation — especially with the visibility this location provides. They are starting to do their small group on Wednesdays.

During the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service, they will have coffee and chats to build relationships within the church. Once 10 o’clock hits, they will move into the Worship Center and begin the service.

In the meantime, Matally said they are building and making some changes throughout the building such as removing pews and building a stage in the Worship Center.

People are encouraged to join their Facebook stream where they have the worship service and in-person at their current location.

Matally said the congregation has diversity throughout not only in the membership but also the leadership.

“That is our uniqueness,” he said. “That’s what we’ve been built on and that’s what we want to continue to be.”
