DCFD responds to storage building fire at Trunnell’s Farm Market

The Daviess County Fire Department responded to a fire involving a storage building at Trunnell’s Farm Market in Utica late Monday night. According to a DCFD official, no people or animals were believed to be harmed and the fire was contained to a single structure.

According to officials, the market building was not affected. It was only a storage building that measures approximately 20×30 feet. The call regarding the fire came in around 9 p.m. Firefighters were still on scene just after 10 p.m. doing overhaul on the storage building.

The fire department official said to his knowledge there were no animals in the building and that it was dedicated to storage. He said there were no reported injuries.
