Monday morning Owensboro Fire Department responded to a fire on Triplett Street where there were no injuries.
The house was unoccupied in the front but a shed in the back of the property had caught fire early in the morning.
When the fire department arrived at the scene, they found it well engulfed in flames according to officials.
The fire caused so much damage that the fire department is still investigating a likely cause.
As the property was unoccupied, there were no injuries.
