Colleen Thomas, Vice President of Operations for the Kentucky Distillers’ Association, will be the featured guest at Thursday’s Rooster Booster event.
The program begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center (501 West Second Street) and is sponsored by Green River Distilling Company. This meeting functions as the April meeting as most people would be on Spring Break during the original date.
In her position with KDA, Thomas oversees the organization’s operations activities, including member services and support, responsibility and sustainability programs, research, workforce development, marketing, and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail tourism program.
Thomas has shown dedication to the Kentucky Bourbon industry since before joining the KDA team in 2016.
In 2014, she worked with a team of distilling and hospitality professionals to develop the Stave & Thief Society, the first Bourbon certification program recognized by the KDA and its iconic member companies.
Register to attend here or call the Chamber office at 270-926-1860.
The cost to attend Rooster Booster is $15 for Chamber Members with reservations, $20 for Members with no reservations and $25 for non-members. Reservations include breakfast, which will be served buffet style at the beginning of the event.
