The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce will host its “Red, White & Blue” event at 10 a.m. Saturday on the Daviess County courthouse lawn. The event will give candidates vying for county seats this election the opportunity to give a short statement to the guests in attendance.

Speeches will begin immediately after the opening of the program and will be quick in succession. Each candidate will be given 2 minutes to speak, except for those running for Judge-Executive, who will get 3 minutes each. Jaclyn Graves, Chamber Advocacy Committee Member, will emcee the event.

Our members drive the local economy and progress. Giving them the opportunity to make informed decisions is important to their bottom line.”

Attendees are advised to bring their own chair or blanket for seating at the event. The event is sponsored by Big Rivers Electric Corporation.

In the case of inclement weather, a decision of whether the event will be cancelled will be made by 8 a.m.
