Due to a vehicle crashing into the electrical box at the Bluegrass Museum Hall of Fame and the expected time needed for repairs, the OT Primary Election Town Hall has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 12. The event will still include sessions for Daviess County’s Clerk, PVA, District Judge Division 3, Family Court Judge, Commissioners (3 seats), Judge-Executive and Sheriff.

Note: No other events at the Hall of Fame are expected to be postponed or affected.

Guests will be allowed to attend the OT Town Hall in-person for free on a first-come, first-serve basis as seating allows.

Guests will not be allowed to ask the candidates questions during the event. OT accepted feedback regarding what to ask candidates, and the community’s input was factored heavily into the formation of questions to make sure we address the most important topics to you.

Candidates were given general topics ahead of time, but specific questions will be asked for the first time during the event.

The event will be broadcast live on the OT Facebook Page in 9 segments throughout the day. All 9 segments will remain on our Facebook page and will be uploaded to owensborotimes.com for those who can’t attend or view the live feeds.

Each segment will be dedicated to a specific race (including one segment each for the East, Central, and West commission races).

Each session will begin at the time listed. Sessions will not begin earlier than scheduled, even if the one before it ends early. Most candidates have already confirmed they will still be participating in the rescheduled event.

For the second question, they will answer from right to left, and so on.

Jake Boswell will serve as the moderator for the event. The Town Hall is presented by Castlen Steel and Daniel Dick-State Farm Insurance Agent. OT has partnered with Tanner+West to produce the live streams.
