The next meeting of the Green Valley Beekeepers Association is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. June 6 at the Daviess County Cooperative Extension Service. Myra Teal will be presenting a program on honey extraction and the equipment that is needed.
The meeting will also include a honey tasting segment. There will be several brands of honey purchased from local retail stores as well as some locally produced honey from some of the GVBA beekeepers.
As always, at the end of the program, there will be time for questions and answers. More information on the GVBA can be found here. Non-members are welcome to attend.
