DCDC: Inmate back in custody after escaping, another arrest made after investigation

Mary Lou Eggleston, who escaped from the Daviess County Detention Center Thursday night, is back in custody after being found Monday night. Jayvon M. Fountain was also arrested for involvement, according to Daviess County Detention Center.

Eggleston was found after Owensboro Police Department responded to a suspicious person call on the 3700 block of New Hartford Road.

Eggleston is charged with Escape, 2nd Degree and Theft of Identity. The officers also identified Fountain and arrested him on charges developed during their investigation.

Fountain is charged with Hindering Apprehension, 2nd Degree and Theft of Identity, according to DCDC.

Both are now in the custody of Daviess County Detention Center.
