The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a Friday afternoon firearm discharge on Deer Trail near Thompson-Berry Park, where a home and vehicle were struck multiple times. No injuries were reported.
According to OPD, no one was inside the home or vehicle at the time shots were fired. According to reports, the firearm discharge occurred just before 4 p.m. Friday.
This is the second firearm discharge this month that has occurred near Thompson-Berry. No injuries were reported and there was no evidence found of damage to any property in the first incident.
