OT hosting General Election Town Hall today for local races

Owensboro Times is hosting a General Election Town Hall today. There will be sessions for Daviess County’s Central Commissioner and Judge-Executive; Circuit Judge (Division 1); District Judge (Division 3); Family Court judge (both divisions); Owensboro City Commissioners; and State Representative (13th District). 

The event will be held at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Museum and streamed live to Facebook. Jake Boswell will serve as the moderator. Guests will be allowed to attend in-person for free but will not be allowed to ask the candidates questions during the event. 

The event will be broadcast live on the OT Facebook Page in 8 segments throughout the day. All 8 segments will remain on our Facebook page and will be uploaded to owensborotimes.com.

The session times are as follows (candidates are listed in the order they will appear on the ballot):

An invitation has been extended to all candidates. Most responded that they plan to attend. The event will go on even if not every candidate attends.

There will be a varying number of questions for each session as time allows and based on the number of candidates. Questions will be tailored to each race. Each candidate will be allowed to answer each question. 

Jake Boswell will serve as the moderator for the event. OT has partnered with Tanner+West to produce the live streams.
