An occupied home was struck by gunfire Saturday afternoon on West 3rd Street, according to the Owensboro Police Department. No injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing. According to OPD, the incident occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. in the 1500 block of West 3rd Street. One person was in the residence but was not injured.
