Daviess County Fiscal Court held a swearing-in ceremony for newly elected county officials on Wednesday, though they won’t take office until January.
The ceremony was held in the second floor courtroom with Judge Tom Castlen administering the oath of office.
The following county officials were sworn in:
- Judge-Executive Charlie Castlen
- Commissioners Janie Marksberry, Larry Conder, and Chris Castlen
- Attorney John Burlew
- Clerk Leslie McCarty
- Sheriff Brad Youngman
- Jailer Art Maglinger
- Constables Kris Crawford, Steve Nave, and Dan Bennett
- Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors Mark Irby and Dustin Warren (Jeff Rice was not in attendance)
