A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Daviess County, beginning at midnight tonight. Up to 2 inches of expected, though temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by midday.

According to a Facebook post from National Weather Service Paducah:

Some accumulating snow is expected again tonight as a clipper system moves in from the northwest. These systems are notorious for their difficulty in pinning down actual amounts, but we have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for areas we think have the best chance of seeing travel impacts Monday morning. Overall we are expected 1-2″ in the advisory area and up to an inch in other areas of the quad-state region. We will be monitoring the system as it approaches, check back for updates if you have travel plans. We expect temperatures to rise above freezing area wide by midday Monday which should quickly improve conditions.
