NWS weather outlook: Snow arriving Thursday night with arctic cold front

Thursday rain shows will turn into snow Thursday night as an arctic cold front sweeps through the area, also brining temperatures well below freezing, according to the National Weather Service. Hazardous driving conditions including flash freezing of wet roads is likely.

A Tuesday morning alert from NWS Paducah reads:
An arctic cold front is on track to bring a period of snow Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. Hazardous travel conditions are likely by Thursday evening as temperatures plummet below freezing.
