Wendell Foster has launched its annual Holiday Bourbon Raffle. Each raffle ticket sold is a separate and equal chance to win one of three exotic bourbon prizes.
Composed of the Buffalo Trace Antique collection, the grand prize features Thomas Handy Sazerac, Sazerac 18 Year, William Larue Weller, Eagle Rare 17 Year, and George T. Stagg bourbon. The second encompasses all things Weller with bottles of Weller Special Reserve, Weller Antique 107, Weller 12 Year, Weller Full Proof, Weller CYPB, and Weller Single Barrel. The third prize is a pair of Blanton’s Original Single Barrel, 750ml, and Blanton’s Original Single Barrel, 375ml.
All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Wendell Foster, which recently celebrated its 75-year anniversary. The organization serves over 2,000 individuals with disabilities annually through residential, rehabilitative, and community-based services.
The group launched its “Yes! Moments” campaign in March to highlight the achievements of its care recipients.
“Yes! Moments are those times in your life when you pump your fist and say Yes!” said Doug Hoyt, CEO of Wendell Foster. “Perhaps it was graduating or getting married or the birth of a child or grandchild. For those we serve, Yes! Moments are a little different.”
Yes! Moments highlighted in the campaign included improving fine motor skills, learning to speak and communicate with others, and overcoming a fear of the outdoors.
“We are very excited about this raffle,” Hoyt added. “Together, this raffle will help empower people with disabilities to achieve their Yes! Moments.”
Tickets are $25 each and will be for sale until Tuesday, December 20 at 11:59 p.m. The raffle drawing will take place on Wednesday at noon and will stream live on Wendell Foster’s Facebook page here.
