DCSO: 4 individuals arrested Monday morning, all facing drug charges

Four individuals were arrested after routine traffic patrols led to drug-related charges early Monday morning, according to Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

At roughly 12:10 a.m., a deputy located a vehicle in the 2300 block of W 4th St with blinking flashers. Through investigation, deputies located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine with assorted paraphernalia.

Geraldine Havener and Terry Glover were both charged due to the investigation.

Deputies patrolled in the 2400 block range of KY 144 at roughly 1:20 a.m. when they observed a subject attempting to jump into the roadway in front of vehicles. Upon contact, DCSO deputies identified the subject as Christopher Light.

DCSO took Light into custody after learning he had a warrant from Daviess County and took him into custody.

After patrolling around 3100 Fairview Drive, DCSO said they observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop. Upon contact, DCSO reported that the identified passenger was Kimberly Kassinger and learned she had an Indictment Warrant out of Ohio County and took her into custody.

According to DCSO, Kassinger was found with a trafficking amount of methamphetamine, assorted paraphernalia, and a quantity of currency.

Glover is charged with:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
  • Failure to Wear Seat Belts

He was served with a warrant for a Failure to Appear (Underlying charge of Alcohol Intoxication)

Havener is charged with the following:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
  • Failure to Wear Seat Belts

Light is charged with the following:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)

Light was charged with a Felony Warrant out of Daviess County for:

  • Contempt of Court/Failure to Comply

Kassinger is charged with the following:

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (> or = 2 Grams of Methamphetamine)
  • Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess

Kassinger also served an Indictment Warrant out of Ohio County for the following charges:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
