Holiday World will open for the 2023 Season this weekend on Saturday. Officials said the theme park is ushering in its 78th season with two smoothly re-tracked coasters and new food items. Splashin’ Safari will open on May 20.
Both parks will only be open on weekends until May 29, when they will both start to be open daily.
One of the most notable improvements to Holiday World since last year is that the Voyage wooden roller coaster received 1,600+ feet of upgraded, smoother track. That means 25% of the 1.3-mile ride has brand new track.
A fan-favorite even from last year returns this year with the Holidays in the Sky drone and fireworks show, which runs nightly from June 17-July 30 and features 400 drones with new animations and music.
Both parks will be cashless in 2023, and free cash-to-card kiosks will be available on-site.
Season passes and daily tickets are on sale now at holidayworld.com. Children 3 and under are admitted free, and children 4-5 years old qualify for a free pre-k season pass.
