Many downtown streets will be closed Friday and Saturday for the BBQ and Barrels event. A portion of East 2nd Street is already closed today. Here’s what to know.
All streets listed below will reopen at 7 a.m. Sunday
Closed starting at 7 a.m. Thursday
• East 2nd Street from Clay Street to J.R. Miller Boulevard, and from J.R. Miller Boulevard to Daviess Street (The intersection of J.R. Miller./East 2nd will remain open.)
Closed starting at 7 a.m. Friday
• East 2nd Street from Daviess Street to Walnut Street
• Allen Street, St. Ann Street, Frederica Street, St. Elizabeth Street, and Locust Street from West 3rd Street to Veterans Boulevard
• Cedar Street from West 3rd Street to West 2nd Street
• Veterans Boulevard
The Daviess Street parking garage will remain open for the entire weekend. Drivers are asked to abide by all posted parking signs.
