Broadlinc on Tuesday announced the launch of its high-speed fiber internet services in Whitesville and Fordsville.

Broadlinc is an Owen County-based provider of high-speed internet, cable TV, and phone services. According to a release, residents and businesses now have access to cable internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps.
The release said Broadlinc has invested in the latest technology and infrastructure to for their services.
“Broadlinc HFC technology is delivered by fiber to a street near you, then the last segment of the network is brought to you by the cable lines,” the release said. “The technology to the cable modem is DOCSIS 3.0 running at enough capacity for twice the population of the service area. The company has upgraded, repaired, and replaced bad cable and components to bring the best rural broadband to Whitesville and Fordsville.”
VP of Operations TJ Scott said Broalinc believes that Whitesville and Fordsville “deserve the best internet service.”

Residents of Whitesville and Fordsville can now sign up for Broadlinc’s internet services by visiting their website Broadlinc.com and filling out the Check Availability Form. They can also complete the “Contact Us” form that is posted on the Broadlinc website.
