Kenergy crews are on the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Highway 56 Thursday evening, according to Daviess County Central Dispatch. There are no injuries according to officials.
A pole was struck and due to repairs to the wires and the pole, Dispatch believes the road is expected to be partially closed for 2-5 hours for repairs. Dispatch reports that the closure will occur from Worthington Rd to Lyddane Bridge Rd.
The State Highway Department is also responding to the scene. Sherrif Brad Youngman reports there are no injuries.
