The Fall Farm Market at Hayden Farms returns to Whitesville for a fifth year on Saturday, September 30. Organizers Daniel and Danielle Hayden expect this year’s event to be one of their largest as they welcome a long list of new vendors.

The event offers the perfect opportunity to support small businesses while stocking up on fall decor, pumpkins, jewelry, and much more. Guests can also enjoy hayrides, farm tours, flower patches, nature paths, and yard games.

Hayden also promises a slew of food and beverage vendors, offering a large assortment of foods, desserts, specialty coffees and drinks, adult beverages, and more. Click here to visit the Hayden Farm blog and see a full list of vendors.

“We’re so excited to welcome everyone to the farm for our fifth Fall market,” Danielle Hayden said. “We love seeing those who make it an annual tradition and meeting new people.”

The Haydens hosted their first Fall Market in 2019 in a small white building, now used as a cool-off area for the many attendees. The first event featured three vendors, a concession stand, chicken house tours, and a hay ride, and played host to 70 people.

The first big year came in 2020 when folks sought outdoor spaces to explore during the pandemic. After some monumental online engagement, the event grew to 30 vendors. Hayden said Daniel and even the vendors weren’t in shock as cars flooded the farm.

The event continued to grow and evolve, with 50 vendors in 2021 and 70 in 2022. They even added a food court, more games, live music, and an efficient parking system to help sustain the growth.

This year’s attendees can also soak in several scarecrows craftily created by local students as part of a contest. Pearl, the selfie photobooth, will also be available for use.

“Each year, this event has grown and hanged – it’s a lot of fun for us to fine-tune and add to it,” she said. “Daniel and I take a lot of pride in this event but so do the guys that work on the farm. They go above and beyond to help us improve the visitor experience. We definitely couldn’t pull off an event of this size without their help, as well as our friends and family.”

To make the event even more memorable, it’s also Daniel’s 35th birthday.

“Be sure to wish Daniel a happy birthday if you see him,” Hayden said. “He’s put a lot of work into this event, and I know there isn’t anywhere else he would rather spend his special day.”

There is no cost to attend the event. Parking is available for $10 per car.
