Daviess County Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees through January 9 as the holidays approach. The shelter cares for nearly 100 cats and encourages the community to consider adopting during the season.
There is a limit of two adult cat adoptions per household. The fee is typically $40, and all cats are spayed/neutered and microchipped with up-to-date vaccines.
Those adopting should bring a carrier or be prepared to purchase a cardboard one at the shelter for $5.
