An Amber Alert was released Monday morning by the Kentucky State Police for Lela Black, a 5 year old from Princeton, Kentucky.
The Amber Alert reported she was last seen leaving with her father Byron Black in a 1996 white Chevy Silverado with California plates 5J83779. The car is described to have paint peeling off the hood. She was last seen Friday January 26, near Princeton, Kentucky.
Lela is a 5 year old female, 3 feet 6 inches with brown hair brown eyes and forty pounds. Byron is a 42 year old white male, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
KSP reports that on January 28, they were called to the residence Lela was known to reside and Kelly Black, Lela’s mother was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Lela is believed to be with her biological father Byron Black who has an arrest warrant for the murder of the juvenile’s mother Kelly Black.
